2017 Marvin Architects Challenge Winner
Elizabeth Herrmann’s Knoll House won best Transitional category this year in Marvin’s prestigious Architects Challenge. The award for design excellence was presented to EH in Orlando at the American Institute of Architects annual convention. An independent jury of esteemed architects chose this year’s winners and commented “It’s a composition of two simple forms punctuated by large windows, allowing this residence to settle itself in this wooded site, while taking advantage of the great views the site affords…It is a beautiful house.”
